Seema Mishra is a Partner at Entangled with a focus on global, integrating work and learning, M&A and innovating partnerships. With over 20 years of proven success in the education sector, Seema has been a core thinker, innovator and creator. Previous to her time at Entangled, Seema was a senior leader in strategy, innovation, and business development functions at Northeastern University, scaling the institution domestically and internationally. She was a core architect in creating Northeastern’s global university system, servicing 18,000+ adult learners worldwide through a variety of models, focused on impacting in-market workforce development, creating new relationships between industry and academics and modernizing apprenticeships.
Prior to Northeastern, she worked at the worldwide postsecondary education leader, Laureate Education, leading all the international market research for the online division of the company. Her recommendations to senior leadership shaped business, marketing, product development, and partnership/acquisition strategies. In addition to Seema’s deep international expertise, she brings thought leadership in the areas of policy research, higher education retention and student services, and outreach for highly gifted children – from professional experiences earlier in her career at the RAND Corporation, Inside Track, and Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth program. Her unique background and knowledge position Seema as a key leader for transformational change in the education sector.
Seema has an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, and a graduate degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
