Landon is an Engagement Manager at Entangled Solutions. He started his career as a 2nd through 4th grade elementary school teacher in the South Bronx, where he taught students with special needs in all subject areas. Landon’s teaching experience affirmed his deep commitment to educational equity and interest in how public, nonprofit, and private institutions intersect to ensure students have schooling experiences that prepare them for life, work, and study beyond K-12.

Following his time in the classroom, Landon served as an advisor to Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and as the Interim Education Advisor to Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh. In these roles, he advised the mayors on issues including economic mobility and entrepreneurship for Boston residents, standardized testing policy, education technology, and high school reform. Immediately prior to joining Entangled, Landon founded the African American Achievement & Leadership Initiative (AAALI) in the San Francisco Unified School District. As Special Assistant to the Superintendent and Director of AAALI, he was responsible for policy, operations, and programmatic leadership and supervision of a portfolio of strategies to improve African American achievement. Landon has also served as a consultant for The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Jobs For the Future.

Landon earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science in Education from Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Government from Harvard University.
